Harmonaire Musique Announces Establishment of National Headquarters in Montréal

June 16, 2025 | Montréal, QC

Harmonaire Musique is proud to announce the formal establishment of its national headquarters at 204 rue du Saint-Sacrement, espace 300, Montréal, QC, marking a new chapter in Canada’s evolving classical music landscape. This milestone follows the organization's official incorporation as a federally registered not-for-profit organization on June 16, 2025.

Nestled in the heart of Old Montreal — one of the city’s most historic and culturally dynamic districts — this location serves as Harmonaire Musique’s administrative and legal registration address. While not a public venue or artistic facility, the space reflects the organization's strategic foundation and long-term vision as a national platform for artistic collaboration, innovation, and cross-cultural dialogue.

“Our decision to anchor the organization in Old Montreal is both symbolic and intentional,” said Clara Hong Cao, Founder and Executive Director of Harmonaire Musique. “This neighborhood represents a convergence of history, architecture, and artistic vitality — a natural home for a forward-thinking organization dedicated to shaping the future of classical music in Canada and beyond.”

Harmonaire Musique was founded with the mission of expanding access to classical music while empowering the next generation of Canadian artists. Operating at the intersection of tradition and experimentation, the organization curates projects that cross genres, disciplines, and geographic boundaries. From concert series to residencies, from research-driven creation to international touring, Harmonaire Musique is committed to fostering a more inclusive, connected, and artistically vibrant world.

The organization’s programs are delivered through a decentralized model, with performances, workshops, and partnerships taking place across diverse venues in Montréal, throughout Canada, and internationally — including concert halls, universities, cultural festivals, and alternative spaces. While the Montréal headquarters serves as the central point for governance and coordination, the scope of activities is intentionally mobile, collaborative, and global in perspective.

With its headquarters now officially established, Harmonaire Musique looks ahead to its inaugural 2026 artistic season, which will feature a national concert series, an international touring initiative, and the launch of a new artist development fellowship.
