Harmonaire Musique
A Platform and a Season
Vision
To foster a vibrant and inclusive classical music scene through bold, high-quality programming;
To become a dynamic platform for emerging artists seeking visibility, collaboration, and artistic development through professional performance.
Mandate
To produce and present original concerts featuring both emerging and established artists;
To support early-career musicians by offering curated performance opportunities in professional contexts;
To broaden public engagement with classical music through events in both traditional and non-traditional venues;
To contribute to the Canadian cultural landscape by championing innovation, dialogue, and diversity in classical music.
Harmonaire Musique Performance Season
Our annual season features four signature concert projects, each designed to support emerging talent and engage audiences through thoughtful artistic vision:
The Blue Lounge – A late-night classical concert series designed for urban, younger audiences. These intimate events bring classical music into the rhythm of contemporary nightlife.
Les Deux Visages du Rêve – A lecture-concert series exploring the psychological lives of composers and the intersections between music, creativity, and mental health.
On the Earth – An international concert project that highlights Canadian emerging artists abroad, offering global visibility while fostering cultural dialogue.
Cataraqui Chamber Music Festival – A summer festival rooted in the natural and cultural landscapes of the Cataraqui region, featuring chamber music alongside Indigenous perspectives.
Each project reflects our commitment to artistic excellence, cultural relevance, and the ongoing renewal of classical music.
